This policy explains what information Links Society Golf ("Links Society", "we", "us") collects through linkssocietygolf.com, how we use it, and the choices you have. Links Society Golf is located at 6601 Royal Street, Bldg A, Pleasant Valley, MO 64068.

Information we collect

Information you give us

• Contact and league forms: your name, email address, and anything you write in the form, such as what you're interested in or details about a league you'd like to start.
• Merch preorders (Drops): when you check out, our payment processor Stripe collects your name, email, phone number, payment details and, if you choose shipping, your shipping address. We receive your name, email, phone, shipping address (if any), the items and sizes you ordered, and the amount paid. We never see or store your full card number.
• Bay bookings, memberships, lessons and punch passes: these are handled by our booking provider, BirdieGrow (app.birdiegrow.com). Information you enter there is collected by BirdieGrow under its own privacy policy and shared with us so we can run your booking or membership.

Information collected automatically

• Analytics and cookies: we use Google Analytics, loaded through Google Tag Manager, to understand how visitors find and use the site, such as which pages are viewed, how long visits last, the type of device and browser, and your approximate location (city level). Google Analytics uses cookies and similar technologies to do this. We use this information in aggregate to improve the site; we don't use it to identify you.
• Server logs: our hosting provider, Cloudflare, processes technical information such as IP address, browser type and the pages requested, to deliver and protect the site.
• Your browser's local storage: the site remembers your Drops cart and your pickup/shipping choice in your own browser so they're still there when you come back. This stays on your device and isn't sent to us until you check out.

How we use information

• To answer your questions and league requests.
• To process, make and deliver your preorders, including contacting you about pickup or shipping and issuing refunds.
• To run bookings, memberships and lessons through BirdieGrow.
• To keep the site secure, prevent fraud and understand how the site is used so we can improve it.
• To meet legal, tax and accounting obligations.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing.

Who we share it with

We share information only with the service providers that help us run the business, and only as needed for them to do that:

• Stripe — payment processing for merch preorders.
• BirdieGrow — bay bookings, memberships, lessons and punch passes.
• Cloudflare — website hosting and order storage.
• Google — website analytics (Google Analytics and Tag Manager).
• Web3Forms — delivers contact and league form submissions to our inbox.
• hCaptcha — checks that form submissions come from a person, not a bot. When you use a form, hCaptcha collects information about your browser and how you interact with the check, under its own privacy policy.
• Google Maps — the map on our Visit page is provided by Google, which may collect information when the map loads.
• Shipping carriers — your name and address, if you choose shipping.

We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights, property or safety of Links Society, our members or others.

Social media

We link to our Instagram, Facebook and TikTok pages. If you follow those links or interact with us there, those platforms' own privacy policies apply.

How long we keep it

We keep order records for as long as needed to fulfill orders and for tax and accounting purposes. Form messages are kept in our email for as long as they're useful for answering you. You can ask us to delete your information at any time (see below), subject to records we're legally required to keep.

Your choices

• You can ask us what information we have about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, by emailing info@linkssocietygolf.com.
• You can clear your saved cart at any time by removing the items or clearing your browser's site data.
• You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, or opt out of Google Analytics with Google's opt-out browser add-on. Learn more about how Google uses information from sites that use its services.

Children

The website is not directed to children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their information online. Junior lessons and leagues are arranged by a parent or guardian.

Security

The site is served over HTTPS, payments are handled by Stripe, and access to order records is limited to our staff. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your information.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top shows when it last changed.
