These terms and conditions apply to your use of linkssocietygolf.com, to merch preorders ("Drops") placed on it, and to bay bookings at our facility. By using the site, placing a preorder or making a booking, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the site. Links Society Golf ("Links Society", "we", "us") is located at 6601 Royal Street, Bldg A, Pleasant Valley, MO 64068.

Drops preorders

Made to order. Drop items are produced in limited runs and only after preorders close. Each item has its own preorder goal, shown on the Drops page.
Charged at checkout. Your card is charged in full when you place a preorder, including shipping if you choose it.
Every item closes on the same date. The close date is shown on the Drops page. Items that reach their goal by the close date are produced; items that don't are not.
Timing. Once the drop closes, we order production for every funded item. When everything has arrived, each order ships in one package or becomes available for pickup. Production times vary, so we can't promise a delivery date, but we'll keep you updated by email or text.
Sizes and colors. Please check sizes before ordering. Photos are representative; small variations in color and finish are normal for made-to-order goods.
Sales tax. Prices don't include sales tax. Missouri sales tax is added at checkout on pickup orders and on orders shipped to a Missouri address, and is shown before you pay. Orders shipped outside Missouri aren't charged Missouri sales tax. Shipping charges aren't taxed. If you choose shipping outside Missouri but enter a Missouri address, we'll contact you to collect the tax or cancel the order.
Prices and errors. Prices are in US dollars. If an item is listed at an incorrect price or a drop has to be cancelled, we'll refund you in full.

Refunds

Item misses its goal: if an item you preordered doesn't reach its goal by the close date, we refund that item's full price, plus the sales tax paid on it, to your original payment method. If no item in a shipped order is produced, we also refund the shipping charge.
Cancelling before the drop closes: email us before the close date to cancel a preorder for a full refund.
After the drop closes: because items are made to order, preorders can't be cancelled once the drop closes.
Defects and wrong items: if your item arrives damaged, defective or isn't what you ordered, contact us within 14 days of receiving it and we'll replace it or refund it.
Returns: made-to-order items can't be returned for change of mind or size.

Refunds go back to the original payment method. Banks usually take 5–10 business days to show a refund on your statement.

Pickup & shipping

Pickup is free at Links Society, 6601 Royal Street, Bldg A, Pleasant Valley, MO. We'll text or email you when your order is ready. Please bring your order confirmation or the name on the order.
Shipping is a flat rate shown at checkout and is available to US addresses only. Please make sure your address is correct; we aren't responsible for orders sent to an address entered incorrectly at checkout.
Unclaimed pickups: if an order isn't picked up within 60 days of our ready notice, we may ship it to you at your cost or donate it.

Bay booking cancellation policy

To keep things fair for everyone, every bay booking has a 12-hour cancellation window.

12 hours or more before your start time: cancel for free and get a full refund.
Less than 12 hours before your start time: a cancellation fee of 50% of the booking fee applies, and the other 50% is refunded.
No-shows: if you don't show up and don't cancel, you're charged the full booking fee and no refund is issued.
Rescheduling: free up to 12 hours before your start time. A reschedule requested less than 12 hours before your start time is treated as a cancellation, and the fee above applies.

Memberships, lessons & punch passes

Memberships, lessons and punch passes are sold through BirdieGrow. Memberships are governed by our Membership Agreement, which you accept when you join. Prices and billing are shown when you sign up. Membership benefits, access hours and pricing described on this site may change; the agreement you accept at signup applies to your membership.

Using the facility

Liability waiver: please complete our Liability Waiver before your first visit.
Golf involves swinging clubs and hitting balls at speed. Use the bays with care, stay clear of other players' swings, and follow staff instructions and posted rules.
You're responsible for damage you or your guests cause to the bays, screens or equipment beyond normal wear.
Bring your own clubs. Use only clean, undamaged clubs and the balls we provide or approve for the simulators.
Guests under 18 must be accompanied or have permission from a parent or guardian.

Using this website

Acceptable use. Don't use the site to break the law, interfere with its operation or security, try to access accounts or data that aren't yours, scrape it in bulk, or send spam or harmful code through its forms.
Our content. The Links Society name, logos, photos, designs and text on this site belong to Links Society Golf or are used with permission. You may view and share pages for personal use, but please don't copy, modify or use them commercially without our written permission.
What you send us. When you send us a message, league request or feedback, you confirm the information is accurate, and you allow us to use any suggestions you share without owing you anything for them.
Accuracy. We work to keep information on the site accurate, but hours, prices, events, products and offers can change without notice, and the site may occasionally contain errors. We may correct errors and update information at any time.
Other sites. The site links to services run by others, such as BirdieGrow, Stripe and Google Maps. Their terms and privacy policies apply when you use them, and we aren't responsible for their content or practices.
Messages from us. If you place an order or booking, you agree we may contact you by email, phone or text about it (for example, to tell you a preorder is ready for pickup). We won't send marketing texts without your consent.

Assumption of risk

Golf and golf simulators involve swinging clubs and hitting balls at high speed, which carries a risk of injury to you, other players and property. By using the facility you accept those risks and agree to play safely and follow staff instructions and posted rules. Our Liability Waiver sets out these terms in full and applies to everyone who plays.

General terms

Disclaimer

The website and its content are provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent allowed by law, we make no warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement, and we don't guarantee that the site will be uninterrupted, error-free or free of viruses.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Links Society Golf and its owners, staff and partners are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data or goodwill, arising from or relating to your use of the website, our products, our services or the facility.

Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Links Society Golf and its owners, staff and partners from any claims, losses and costs (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your misuse of the website or facility, your breach of these terms, or your violation of any law or the rights of others.

Circumstances outside our control

We aren't responsible for delays or failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control, such as manufacturer or shipping delays, severe weather, power or internet outages, equipment failure, or government action. If a drop can't be produced or delivered for these reasons, we'll refund you as described in the Refunds section above.

Disputes and governing law

If you have a problem, please contact us first. Most issues can be sorted out quickly. If we can't resolve it informally within 30 days, these terms and any dispute relating to them are governed by the laws of the State of Missouri, without regard to its conflict of law rules, and will be brought only in the state or federal courts located in Clay County, Missouri. You and we consent to the jurisdiction of those courts.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top shows when they last changed. The version in effect when you place an order or booking applies to that order or booking. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.

Other provisions

Entire agreement. These terms, together with our Privacy Policy, the Membership Agreement and Liability Waiver where they apply, and any terms shown at checkout or booking, are the whole agreement between you and us about their subject.
Severability. If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest stays in effect, and the unenforceable part is applied to the fullest extent allowed.
No waiver. If we don't enforce a term right away, we can still enforce it later.
Assignment. You can't transfer your rights under these terms without our consent. We may transfer ours, for example if the business is sold.
Termination. We may suspend or end access to the website, or refuse an order, if we reasonably believe these terms have been broken. Sections that by their nature should survive, such as limitation of liability and governing law, continue to apply.
